Month of February Digital School Newscast

We would like to extend our deepest gratitude this month to Ms. Ruiz, Ms. Sanders, Ms. Rostomyan, Ms. Ladefoged, Ms. Hernandez, Ms. Repreza, Ms. Batmanova and Ms. Tawachi for supporting the production or our school's newscast and for allowing their students to participate. We also thank Mr. Cruzata, Ms. Langley and Dr. Ikeanyi for their ongoing support.

Read Across America

Read Across America Day is a nationwide reading celebration that takes place annually on March 2—Dr. Seuss’s birthday. Across the country, thousands of schools, libraries, and community centers participate by bringing together kids, teens, and books.

Thank you to all those who contributed into making this day possible!

Los Angeles Jazz Society

Dr. Bobby Rodriguez and Los Angeles Jazz Society performed an amazing jazz set for the kids of Grant Elementary. Thank you to Dr. Bobby Rodriguez and the talented musicians of the Los Angeles Jazz Society for performing for the children of Grant Elementary!!

African American Assembly

Grant ES is a Common Sense School

Grant Elementary has just been approved as a Common Sense School, an honor that recognizes our efforts in teaching digital citizenship to young people and engaging the entire school community in this important discussion. The recognition acknowledges our school’s commitment to creating a culture of digital learning and citizenship.
