Preschool for All Learners

My name is Adriana Tawachi and I have been teaching early childhood special education at Grant Elementary for 8 years. I attended California State Polytechnic University, Pomona and graduated with a BA in English Literature and Minor in Spanish. After completing my undergraduate degree, I received my Teaching Credential and Master’s Degree from California State University, Los Angeles in Early Childhood Special Education.

Two years ago, I pursued and attained my certification from National Board for Professional Teaching Standards. It was a wonderful experience that has helped me cultivate and refine my teaching practice through expert evaluation, peer review, and self-assessment.

In my spare time I enjoy spending time with my family, reading, running outdoors, and hiking.
